Another workout trip of BCMC just to try to get some quick cardio in mid-week (I'm out of shape and have been finding the weekend trips challenging).
Already only doing it one other time a week ago, this trip seemed shorter, and I'm still amazed how many people opt for the grind when this one has so many fewer people.
This time the tram worked so we were able to avoid hiking down, but the price is now $10 for a download ($5 if you buy Whistler bottled water, but only until the end of the month).
As a side note, I decided to wear a heart rate monitor and see what it said so I could compare it to other forms of exercise. Keeping generally with in my zone (not exceeding upper limits too much so I could also hike with someone slightly slower), I burned 1073 calories trailhead to trailhead (I think it was about 1 hour and 15 minutes).
