I was surprised to find the trail dry and completely snow-free. An easy, very gradual trail with lots of ups and downs along the forested ridge. Most logs and ladders have recently been covered with brand-new metal netting, and there was very little ice on the rocks at the top. Unfortunately, all view points have overgrown, so there wasn't much to look at until 50m before the so-called "Vedder Peak". Took us 2h there and 1h 20min back. Lots of mountain bikes, motorbikes and ATVs, but they all showed up later and didn't use the hiking trail.
