Alouette Mountain (from West Canyon Trailhead)

Good workout with decent payoff if you time it with fair weather (which tends to be kinda rare in Golden Ears Provincial...) anywho... not made of sugar, right?
Feel free to cruise my older posts on Alouette for full beta... in short... in dead of winter bring snowshoes, poles, crampons (micro-spikes kinda ok 50% of the time) and ice ax if also tagging Evans peak on the same day. Be aware there are a few higher risk avalanche areas on this hike ... be conservative in your decision making and I strongly suggest you take an AST Course if you plan to play in the back country.
The GPX track attached can be used to chain Evans and Alouette together. Great workout in summer and winter.
