My girlfriend and I just took a trip up to Lovely Water last week and the conditions were manageable. The first three quarters of the trail had no snow at all, but towards the top (roughly 0.75km from the lake) we encountered quite a lot of it. We did just fine with gaiters and poles (packed crampons in case). Mind the creeks! Look for markers.
We organized our river crossing with Jay Birknell from www.squamishriverjet.ca, and his service was on point.
