Excellent and smooth trail. Gentle incline. Not a shred of snow until close to Marmot Pass. Only one stretch of rocky trail over a talus field. After this stretch, you get into the trees again.
There were a couple of very short stretches of ice (water on trail that was frozen) just before getting to the last meadow. Those were slippery, but short enough, and in trees, so even if you slip, it's not dangerous.
Beyond the pass all the way to Buckhorn, the track was obvious, and very little snow on track. The last bit is an easy scramble. No snow on this part. A bit snow on the very top.
Excellent 360 degree view: Baker, Glacier Peak, Rainier, Adams, Helen, more Olympic and Canadian peaks that I cannot name. The top rock is a bit small, can fit 4-5 people, hence you see a couple of heads in my photo. Impossible to take a photo without others in it.

2 & 4, scramble up and down to the last section of Buckhorn Mt.
3. The easy talus field, maybe a mile before the pass.
