Nice but dusty trail. Well maintained and signed. Views are open from the beginning to the end. Very little shade.
Current condition: still a couple of snow patches left (I cooled my water bottle with the snow). One short stretch on steep slope where one of us had some trouble. Still plenty flowers left.
The view on the final stretch is outstanding. The entire Spirit Lake, 360degree view. Even on this hazy day, Rainier, and Adams (and Goat Rocks) are clearly visible.
