DIRECTIONS: Follow the Pyramid Mountain Fire Road for 12 km and 860m of elevation. Then continue on foot, and go steeply up on the ridge on the right hand side. Follow the crest of the cirque, scrambling up, and going around to the summit. The cycle back is really great!create

Pyramid Mountain

This is one of the better scrambles I did near Jasper. You need a mountain bike to make the 12 km long road approach. The hiking part is mostly scrambling over big quartzite blocks along the cirque leading to the summit. The telecommunications tower which was supposed to be at the summit has been removed.
