DIRECTIONS: Take Highway 7 East from Mission. Where the highway crosses the CPR tracks, don’t cross the tracks but instead continue straight onto Hawkins Pickle Road. Follow Hawkins Pickle Road back over the railroad tracks (Bell Rd. continues straight) and drive to the end where there is a yellow gate. Park on either side of the road here then walk past the gate a couple hundred metres until you reach a one lane bridge. Continue walking over the bridge and then take an immediate left and cross the railroad tracks. The trailhead starts there. create
SUMMARY: Head north up the east side of Norrish Creek, ignoring spur trails on left that just lead into the creek.
At about 1 km there is a cairn and the trail heads right into the timber and shortly after climbs a hill into a grove of fir.create

Hot. Too hot to hike. But I went anyway. Great little trail for a quick hike. Lovely views. Deceptively steep in the latter half with dry/dusty trail with loose rock on top in many places - makes for an interesting decent. Will repeat.
