I've done this route twice in May and got a great workout with excellent scenery. Parked at the Mountain Air Bike Skills parking lot on Barnet Hwy and started the Mountain Air Trail. Stay left on the trail where it meets the Velodrome Trail (500 stairs!) and then left again where it meets Pandora Trail. This will take you to the Totem Poles and Horizons Restaurant. Follow the Trans Canada Trail east, veer up & back up Cardiac Hill for a good burn in your legs, then continue to the Cougar Creek Trail junction. Cougar Creek merges with the Barnet Trail and will take you back to the parking lot. Total distance about 10 km with good up & downs. Trail has several "you are here" maps.
