A co-worker of mine suggested this one as it seems to be off of the radar of the reams of hiker campers out there these days.
We got soaked on the way in but it was a nice trail despite the mud,.. but buggy.
The lake is scenic and well worth a visit but decent campspots are few and far between. I think if it were not for that, this place would be very popular. I recommend coming in September and hoping for less moisture and bugs.
