First time this year did not have to haul snowshoes - what a relief!
Trail to Crooked falls was great, some blowdowns on the way up, which were cleared by the great maintenance crew on the way down.
Falls are stanning!
Trail to the second viewpoint was fine as well - not much snow to the knoll, but knoll itself was snowy. Good views to Cloudburst.
Trail after the knoll has snow in the woods and especially at creeks' crossing but trail is well marked and easy to follow (or create your own 'winter' route). Snow was firm so almost no postholing.
Snow-bridges are still standing and safe to be steeped on but it will change soon with the warmer weather. You can hear the water running under you and you do need to exercise caution and probe the snow before stepping on it - just to stay safe and dry.
I stopped at the third creek crossing (may be 1 km till the camp) with the amazing view towards Ossa and neighbouring peaks and Sigurd peak on the other side.
There are other falls - right before the knoll. I approached one which is close to the trail, but there are other further up and close to the left side of the creek - I left to explore those till next time.
