Always fun, excellent view. More details, see my report of last year, and earlier. The only difference of this hike, is that we started late, and waited for sunset at the observatory.
Current condition: flowers are past prime, still nice. No snow at all. Bugs not a problem.
It seems to me that the boundary trail from Johnston Ridge was rerouted to more east, and lower.
