We hiked Tronsen Meadow trail and then Mount Lillian trail. Didn't drive the long winding road to the normal Mount Lillian TH.
Condition: peak flower may still be a couple of weeks away. Right now, Glacier Lily is good, most trillium here is purple, only in lower elevation. Saw some Tweedy, but more are coming. Saw some shooting stars and marsh marigold up along Naneum Creek. Along the road, a few ATVs and trucks. Saw only 4 hikers.
Only small snow patches left on the last half mile to Mount Lillian.
Tronsen Meadow trail is rutted (due to motorcycles) and dusty.
The road to Tronsen Meadow TH is rough. We didn't managed to drive to the TH parking. It's not a long road. Maybe a mile.
