We were looking for an easy trail for our daughter, our dogs, and of course to enjoy the snow and the clear cold weather. The Three-Chop Trail seemed to be a good choice. We first followed the logging road and a bit of the power line. We then went into the woods. No visible trail. We followed what could have been a trail but more likely we created our own path. The cold weather made the snow ideal and open for exploration.
The drive along Indian River Dr was doable without a problem with 4x4. The road has been plowed well but the side were covered with snow and made it harder to find a good spot to park. It should have been harder with a smaller car.
The fresh air, the tree smell, and the cold were refreshing to all of us.
