Trail was in excellent shape up until Munro Lake, very minimal mud or windfall. We followed what looked to be the original trail to the left (West) around Munro on our GPS but, on the way back, found the more recent and better trail that goes nearly straight across what looks like a narrow portion of the lake on the map. It turns out to be a pretty narrow crossing that you can step over, so when on your way up the trail and you come to Munro, stay to the right (I think I saw this in a previous post but was ignorant and disregarded this). The trail up to Dennett from Munro was easy to follow and well-flagged, but quite bushy in spots. Around 20-30 minutes before Dennett, started to have some pretty good mud patches but still relatively easy to negotiate after our dry summer. Ran into 10-15 people along the whole trail (from Quarry Road to Dennett and back), good amount of traffic but not too busy. Nice day to enjoy the lake with some good lighting for pictures. As side note, this was our 40th out of the 103 hikes book, still quite a few to go. :)
