Always been a Top 10 Hike for me...
Lots of flies, biting and otherwise... pretty much the middle half of this hike... it will test your will, patience and resilience. We only met half a dozen people all day which is awesome of course. Smoke was present for the first half of the day but we were lucky that it blew off later in the day.
This hike is tough, make sure you have adequate time, conditioning, water and energy sources to keep you going all day. A handful of mild scrambling sections (Class 2.5?) from upper lake to the peak.
