Awesome hike into a beautiful location with relatively minimal effort for the rewards. The FSR was in great shape up until the 10-11 km mark, with lots of little waterbars/ditches along the way. After we had our fill of views at the pass, we headed back down and were unfortunate to run into a grizzly bear along the trail. Luckily, we spotted it while we were still about 50 meters away, he didn't seem to look up and see us or care that we were there, and we were at the point of the trail along the lake where there were two parallel trails, so we could back track a bit, cut across to the other trail and bypass the bear. Just a warning to anybody headed into the area that there are grizzlies around. :) Good day out with a little added excitement.
