Lots of fresh snow, perfectly mild weather with falling snow, peaceful environment, and a super easy/short trail for beginner snowshoers = nice day out. Now that the new suspension bridge over the Cheakamus River is open, you access the trailhead from Jane Lakes Road. The parking lot across from the trailhead was not plowed and had a couple of feet of fresh snow, so bring a vehicle with high clearance and a shovel if attempting in the winter.
