A friend and I hiked the unrelenting trail which goes up and down the saddles of the mountains which tower over you the entire time. We arrived at the lake and the hut to find that no-one else was there. It's a very pretty yet remote lake. We headed back the next day and it took basically the same amount of time as the hike in though the final climb out of the valley almost did us in.
